Vice President TANG Hua-jun Met with Egyptian Agricultural Vice Minister
Dr. Fadia Nosseir, vice Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Egypt was received by Vice President TANG Hua-jun at CAAS on October 18.
After listening to Dr. TANG’s introduction to CAAS and its research progress, Dr. Nosseir marveled at the agricultural and rural development in China. He was especially interested in China’s agricultural extension system. Both as ancient civilizations, China and Egypt have a lot in common and many complementary advantages for development. Both sides agreed that areas like major animal disease control, water resource management and agricultural extension system and aquaculture should be further explored.
