To further improve the partnership, he put forward a three-point proposal: (1) to take advantage of joint initiatives between both Governments including China-New Zealand Joint Committee on S&T Cooperation and China-New Zealand Dairy Forum; (2) to innovate cooperative activities so as to establish joint research centers, and to jointly train talents based respective academic advantages, and so on; (3) to extend scope for future collaboration, encouraging joint research to tackle commonly concerned issues and key problems in areas such as climate change, agricultural eco-environment, dairy quality test and inspection, water pollution treatment, irrigation technologies.
