Educational background
1980-1984 BSc., in Department of Horticulture, Beijing Agricultural University, Beijing, P.R. China.
1992-1994 MSc., in Department of Plant Breeding, Wageningen University, the Netherlands.
2001-2008 PhD in Department of Entomology & Plant Research International, Wageningen UR, the Netherlands.


Research Area
Since 1984, she has been mainly working on vegetable resources and breeding emphasized in cole crops genetics and breeding, including biotechnology technique e.g. microspore culture, transformation, molecular marker, etc. The research of gene cloning on important cabbage characteristics are also carried out. Taking charge of or participate in more than 20 project, e.g. 863 project, the National Natural Science Foundation, etc.
