The Crop Journal is an international peer-reviewed journal co-sponsored by the Crop Science Society of China and the Institute of Crop Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and China Science Publishing & Media Group Ltd (Science Press). The major aims of the journal are to report the recent progresses in the disciplines of crop breeding, crop genetics, crop cultivation, crop physiology, germplasm resources, grain chemistry, grain storage and processing, biotechnology and biomathematics related to crops, etc. The strict peer-review procedure guarantees the academic level and helps raise the reputation of the journal. The readership of the journal is for crop science researchers, students of agricultural colleges and universities, and persons with similar academic levels. The Crop Journal is freely available online (open access) in ScienceDirect for the highest possible exposure to the international community.
